So today I had a helicopter ride over Franz Josef glacier, Fox glacier and we also did a circle over Mount Cook (New Zealand's highest mountain). It was so amazing!
We landed on Franz Josef and I was astounded by the fact that I managed to stay upright (unusual for me on snow and ice) and also that I didn't need a jumper or coat.
Our pilot for the day was really blase about the flight, well he does it at least 8 times a day I guess.
When we flew over Mount Cook back to Franz Josef we started to bump around a bit and at that point I started my usual fight ritual of saying bye to everyone (it's a good job I'm not too dramatic eh!)
I followed that up with a walk around the town, a little nap and the best pizza I've had in a long while at the blue ice cafe/bar (thanks Lynds for the suggestion).
Another amazing day and I've got a long drive ahead of me to Queenstown where I'm expecting more amazing sights and maybe even a wine tour!
