Oh my god what a day! It's 21:00 Thursday night and it feels so good to be in bed!!!! I went to ko phi phi yesterday- quite possibly the most beautiful island on earth. After I'd sat at the beach bar for a bit and the storm had passed I went for a wander around the town quickly. Went and had something to eat, not sure what it was though. Spaghetti in tomato, chilli and garlic sauce with prawns, something in black shells, and something in White shells! I ate it though and it was nice! Then I decided to get myself a souvenir so I walked into a tattoo shop! Not your normal kind of tattoo though, ones that they do by putting a needle onto the end of a bamboo stick and tapping it into ur skin. While they drew my design up, me and the guy who ran the place did a couple of shots of rum haha! Just as my tattoo was being finished 2 Australian girls came in to get one aswell. We got chatting an decided to hang out together for the rest of the evening. A few more shots of rum later we left the tattoo shop and decided to get something to eat again! After that, a quick stop at their place to get changed and I even managed to straighten my hair! Then we walked down to the beach for the beach party. It was AMAZING!!!! loud music, fire twirlers, buckets of vodka and redbull for £3, and all taken part on the sand while the sea was just a few feet away. It was perfect! Needless to say, I got pissed. Very pissed. 3am I decided to go home. Only problem was my sense of direction had disappeared with my sobriety! I couldn't find my apartment anywhere and I was taking 1 step forward, 3 sideways, and 2 back! I met a foreign lad on a bicycle who was almost as pissed as me. He thought he would help me find my way home so I got on the back of his bike and we went for a drunken cycle ride round half the island, crashing into walls, bins, doors, cats and other things along the way. In the end I got off as I still had no idea which way I was supposed to be going! Somehow I eventually found my room an passed out until 9:30 am this morning!
God, I felt rough when I woke up! I thought I was gonna die! I got up and went straight to the nearest cafe that sold cups of tea. Met meg and Sophie (the australians) a bit later and went and got some breakfast! After breakfast we said our goodbyes and I went and sat on the beach to nurse my hangover and read my book! On the way to the beach there was a random woman holding a monkey. A real one. She told him to shake my hand and he did! He was so cute and was wearing a red Tshirt and some dungarees! Quite possibly the coolest pet in the world. I'm gonna buy one when I get back to England (sorry Dawn ;)) anyway I was just about to go when the monkey nicked my straw from my can of sprite! It was so funny and cute that I gave him what was left of the sprite and he drank it. How cool!
Anyway before I left I booked myself a nice posh room including mini bar, to stay in on Saturday, sunday, and Monday night. I decided to go back there as it's just so nice. That way I can relax for the last few days of my holiday before I try and get myself a flight back to Bangkok to be there ready to come home.
Anyway that's enough from me, I'm having an early night tonight and a lay in in the morning.
