Taking a short flight back to grimey La Paz, we were amazed at the crowds of people swarming the tiny airport wearing "Kudai" t-shirts. We realised Kudai were a band flying in on our plane to perform that night in Sucre. As the screams erupted we saw four ordinary-looking people hop off the plane waving and videoing their fans before being whisked off by bodyguards.
La Paz had not grown any cleaner since we left and as it was the weekend the amount of people seemed to have doubled. Finding out there was yet another National Parade happening in the main street, we had to find a new way to cross it in order to reach the shopping centre. Having previously seen all the main attractions in La Paz we felt this was deserved! Although most of the shops were closed, Emma managed to find the one top that was not Bolivian-style in the whole country!
After completing several errands and being interviewed by some Bolivian students learning English, we met Hazel the last member of the tour still with us for dinner. Taking some time to chill before flying to Argentina to meet Jamie, Daniel and Emily on Monday morning we still wanted to fit in one last experience. So this afternoon, we are attending a men and women´s wrestling match and have been warned about how aggressive the women can be whilst fighting! We are slightly apprehensive considering we are sitting in the front row!
