Happy Easter everyone! Just a quick note to let you know I've posted some photos of what I've been up to this week here in San Jose and outside the city. This was holy week down here and everything (including school) was closed on Thursday and Friday. Lots of folks had the whole week off. So I took advantage of a few free days this week to do a couple side trips out of San Jose to the Poas volcano, to a couple other little towns en route (Grecia and Sarchi), and to Cartago, the former capital of Costa Rica. I also went into downtown San Jose today since I had yet to really walk around down there, and I got to witness some of the Easter festivites first hand.

This coming week will be my last in Costa Rica. I leave on Saturday for Argentina. Hard to believe 2 1/2 months has gone by already! I'll have one last blog post later this week with some final thoughts on my time here. (And I'll also post one more collection of funny and interesting photos I've been collecting throughout the country. Oh, and I finally got the video upload function to work, so I've posted a few videos from throughout the trip on that tab, and I'll have a couple more to add later this week too.)

In the meantime, please eat an extra chocolate egg for me since if the Easter Bunny is a "thing" here, he must not deliver Easter candy. I haven't seen any anywhere. Take care and love to all!
