So arrived in Lima on my bday, feeling rough from the bus, but Mark filled the room with balloons and a banner plus cards, so that made me feel better!!! Had a nap in the afternoon and was ready for a night out!!! Everyone went out for dinner to a lush Peruvian restaurant, Tanta, then onto some bars with live music in our district of Barranco. Really good night, and had a gorgeous cake they bought for me!!

Spent the next day in Lima sightseeing, seeing churches, monastaries, catacombs (weird), the inquisition museum, and seeing Pirates of the Caribbean 3!!! five new people joined the tour that day, four MORE girls and a guy (seeing as im writing this 20something days later I can say that they're all really nice, just took a while to get used to new people!!)

Had another day in Lima where Mark, Nabeel, jorge and I played tennis on a cliff overlooking the sea, then I spent the rest of the afternoon camera shopping to replace my stolen one (got one!) and Mark went Paragliding off a cliff at LarComar!! Had an amazing time, gliding really close to the Lima marriott so could see in the windows!! Says its still the best activity he's done to date...! Went out that evening to our guide Jorge's neighbourhood and had delicious pizza (of which there is very little in Peru!)

Long day bus journey to Pisco the next day!
