Began with the dinosaur footprints tour... taken to a small museum with has replicas of the dinosaurs that have been found in and around the area and in south america, then there is a viewing gallery of a shifted tectonic plate that has fossilised dinosaur footprints!! Cochabamba was definitely prettier than La Paz... Arrived early after the night bus and went on an open top bus trip around the city. Saw lots of the sights, but as the commentary was in Spanish we probably missed a bit!! Cochabamba has its own Cristo overlooking the city, which actually is the biggest in South America, bigger than the one in Rio. The long Journey from Puno to La Paz took us round the shores of Lake titikaka, via Copacabana. Massive drop in prices even from Peru (which wasn't very expensive) into bolivia. Food So cheap... Crazy when we had to get out of the bus to cross lake titikaka, we all got in boats, while our buses were driven onto planks of wood and basically punted across the lake to the other side!!
