Well back in Melbourne at last, just chilling and sorting stuff out before I leave again, probably for Adelaide. Busy weekend - went out with Mark on Friday night and what started off as a quiet drink in the cricketers (local pub) ended with us propping up a bar in Richmond at 4 in the morning, having drunk most of Melbourne in the process! Understandably I was no use to man or beast for most of Saturday while Mark was unnaturally compus mentus - lucky b******... Recovered enough to go for thai with M&D and some of their friends - good for , good conversation both of which ...

Spent last night with Mark and the old boys from the MG club at a 3 hour seminar put on for them by the Bosch training bods. Lots of horsepower and horsing around with cars and bikes - it got quite technical but I managed to keep up. Mark and I both reckon that the Lotus needs fuel injection in a big way so Pete, make it happen! Monday morning, just chilling - got to go find a job this week... Had a great weekend in Rye though the weather was like Dorset in autumn - sheeting rain, particularly when Mark decided to mow the lawn of course! Went up to the area where all the vineyards are and went to a microbrewery up there as well. Mark and I impulse purchased 14 bottles of vino and half a dozen bottles of beer. Tasting generally seems to cost a couple of dollars per person which isn't bad ...

Well here I is in Oz - weather is a bit sucky at the moment! Almost feels like home... Spent the afternoon sampling the fine cafe culture they have here and the alcohol that goes with it - off to the beach house this weekend, more on monday...
