Today we drove to Andamooka. On the way we stopped at Woomera where we saw an old missle. We went to Roxby Downs and Olimpic Dam which is a big mining community. The sand is very red there. We stayed in the middle of town. The place we stayed at had a park, BMX track, skate ramp and a noddling aera. (Were you find opals.) There I found 2 opals and dad found 1 but gave it to me. It was fun. We looked at some old underground shacks that miners used to live in. They were pretty cool. One of the shacks belonged to Jack Absalom's dad (he is an Australian artist who lives in broken hill.)
