Super fun day in Oslo. Yummy breakfast at the hotel followed by bus and train ride to Oslo (airport is about 25 min N by train). Started out at the Viking Museum. Amazing artifacts from around 700 AD. The Viking Queens were buried in their ships along with a number of items to help them in the afterlife. The mud and dirt preserved them. We then checked out the harbour and fort near the waterfront. We met my friend Asbjorn for supper and an after dinner tour. Great Chinese food followed by a climb up the roof of the beautiful Oslo Opera House. So nice catching up. Tomorrow we fly to the college. At the moment we are waiting for our bus while the kids play at the airport playground at 10pm!!!!
