Arrived in Paris after a quick 2 hr journey from Brussels. The train (Thalys) was great, comfortable seating, delicious lunch. We are staying in a hostel a few blocks from the train station in a private room. Nothing fancy, but with the money we saved we can do lots of fun stuff in Paris. We walked to the restaurant in the Montmartre district. Yummy food and lots to see. It is one of the highest hills and home to the Artist's square where local artists are selling paintings. And doing portraits for tourists. It really is amazing. Jules would love it.
