When people ask me what I'm doing and I tell them, I get a wide array of responses from, 'oh my Buddha you are a mad lady', to 'wow, you're brave, wish I'd of done that'!!! My new motto after managing to do this on my own is 'miracles happen' and 'people are like teabags, you have to put them into hot water before you know how strong they are'!!! I may even get a new tattoo whilst on my travels, 'shoot nothing but pictures, kill nothing but time, leave nothing but footprints'! Mum would love it :0)
To be honest although I'm on my own, I havnt had a lonely moment yet, in fact quite the contrary, sum people actually get quite clingy ha ha
It's quite a contrast how in Thailand, unless you force yourself into the middle of the road, you will be stood there all day getting a burnt nose and here, they have secret Jay walking police! I will have to bear all the little changes in law legislation in mind as I keep changing countries!!! Someone told me yesterday that they even have hangings every Friday although when I asked if they were public she looked at me weird ha ha
Last night I met Lee from Korea who is staying at my hostel and we agreed to go to universal studios at sentosa! I certainly didn't expect it to be that good! We started with lunch which he treated me to for helping him with his English! We then went on the Madagascar ride, then the shrek 3D show where the chairs moved, we were squirted with water when the donkey sneezed and something tickled our feet when the spiders escaped! Then came the Jurassic park ride before the mummy returns ride which went backwards and all sorts!!! The waterworld show (Kevin Costner) had jet ski acrobatics and we got soaked! The blue and red roller coasters raced each other and we went on 4 times, Rita corkscrew stylie! The Steven Spielberg film set was followed by the monsters inc show!!! We were there from 2 til 7 and didn't queue more than 10 seconds for anything!!! The whole day was absolutely amazing an I didn't expect it to be that good! For $66, £33, it puts Alton towers to shame!!!
I met chris (the hostel guy) in the bar when i got back and we laughed at the fact I'd put my hostel comment in the tissue box rather than on the Internet!!! Met some amazing people, a lady from
Perth and one from Scotland who bought me a drunk cos if their kids were travelling, they'd like someone to do the same!!! Bed timmmeeeee :0)
