Universal studios lived upto all expectations, on the Simpsons ride you got sucked into maggies mouth like a lolly pop and you could actually smell babies! The mummy ride took off like Rita and we had a behind the scenes look at how they create hollywoods special effects!

Hollywood boulevard was everything I expected although I didn't see Oprah walking down the street, we saw all the stars on the sidewalk after having shepherds pie at the 'pig and whistle', we went to the ripleys museum and learnt how the Jivaro Indians of Ecuador use to shrink real heads to use as trophies, a process that took over a year!

Theres clear blue skies here but it's still fresh! Feels like the Antarctic after Fiji so I'm sporting Jans jacket everywhere we go! The odd time I've had it off, ladies druel over my tan and even compliment my hair colour, basically it's various colours after not being touched for 7 months and the sea has faded it to what looks like expensive highlights!

We then headed down to San Diego to sea world where shamu showed off his skills and i noticed huge tubs of whole gherkins, the bits the English throw away out of the burger!!! Libby then educated me on Mexican cuisine in the old town as jan sung his version of 'la bamba'!
