Day 8 - Kauai, Hawaii Woke again to yet another glorious day on this paradise island. The sun is shining and all is good with the world. Day 7 - Maui to Kauai Our last day in Maui and transfer flights to Kauai. Another lovely sunny day so have decided we would join the Americans in a morning constitutional along the beachfront walk; well we walked and they mostly ran; with the food they eat I guess this is the only way the slim ones manage to watch their weight. Day 6 - Maui Hawaii Another lovely day here in Maui. Had an alfresco breakfast on the balcony. We had bought some cereals, fruit, milk and orange juice from the local supermarket so we have been having that for a few days. Day 5 - Maui Wow what a fabulous day in what can only be described as paradise, albeit a rather expensive paradise. Apparently Maui is the most expensive of the Hawaiian islands with the property being the 2nd most expensive in the world - more than Sandbanks! Day 4 - Hawaii Aloha Touchdown Honolulu and waiting for our connecting flight to Kahului on Maui. Boy has it been raining here; apparently they had a massive storm yesterday and last night and Maui is apparently getting a bit of a soaking at the moment. On a positive note this is not unusual for this time of year and it is scheduled to improve and clear tomorrow. I'm sure they must know that we are here!
