Day 17 Fiji - New Zealand The day dawned bright and sunny again after last nights rain but really humid; the sort of weather that when you get out of the shower you are as wet again 5 mins later! Breakfast then a lovely walk along the beach. Got talking to some Canadians in the next villa who were from Nova Scotia also escaping the winter; they were also travelling to South Island NZ for their daughters wedding. A quick stop over at Auckland airport to change flights to Christchurch and free internet access so a perfect time for an update to the blog. Left the Fiji Resort & Spa this morning at 11:00 to transfer to Nadi airport for our 14:00 flight to Auckland. Day 16 - Davui to Denarau 7am and its raining, well to be more accurate it's chucking it down, stair-rods! This is their rainy season but it's the first we've seen since arriving so mustn't complain, I guess it gives us a true sense of this place and its weather systems. Day 16 - Royal Davui Yet another day on this South Sea island paradise, oh it's such a chore, all this luxury. Who am I kidding, I love it; sun, sun and yet more sun. Day 15 Royal Davui Isalnd, Fiji Our second day on this tropical paradise. Things are so laidback here they are almost horizontal. We are now down to 10 guests as more left this morning after breakfast. Not only do they greet you with a welcome song which is sung by all the staff, they sing a special leaving song as well.
