It's August Bank Holiday monday and the sun is shining !!!!!!! John and I have just returned from caravan after a few days and had a peaceful time and good weather ! Am at Dans at moment doing usual job so have been printing off blog and photos for nan. Off to caravan next week when kids go back to school taking Aileen and Julie. That won't go down well with nan!!! tough !!! Nunney Flower Show this week end so that should give her something to think about for a couple of days . D & D off to caravan tomorrow till weekend. It looks as though they will be able to have her brother's house in Rossiters road. So all is well here. I love your blog. Not sure that adventure overland is what I should be doing in South America! Having read about your tales perhaps I should wimp out and do a nice coach trip around Europe - not! Have told work that I want my pension and that they really don't need me anymore (heard the cheers from FY at FN!), I leave on 30th September (last day 14th). Leave for Oz 25th Sept. and then the big adventure begins. Can't wait, even if I am thinking 'O-My-G what have I done. No doubt it will all work out as it should. Might see you in Rio for carnival. Lady Rach, finally, after weeks of trying I've solved that bloody sum and am able to write a message. I assure you it's not that I've been lazy, I've been trying to post a message for months.

Right now that I've got myself out of that little scrape... It's also dawned on me that with all the people you know you may not know which Dave this is.... Let me remind you.... I'm the one you sent back from Shepton Mallet (Your Ma's retirement do) to Bath to pick up the bag that you'd left there, only to find you had it with you in Shepton. Seriously though, dont't worry about it, I've forgotten all about it, no need to bring me a special present back from your travels!

Your blog/photos are amazing. Why is it that everyone elses pictures are better than your own. Just to clarify, by that I mean yours are better than mine, not everyone elses are better than yours. I've taken a special interest in the India and Mcleod Ganj ones and taken delight in recognising some familiar landmarks/social pests.

Life here is much the same, the big news for me being that Thierry Henry has gone to Barcelona (boo hoo) and I'm going to be a father! Obviously the order of that is all wrong, but until I can actually see a physical being I'm not believing it! Zoe is doing fab and is starting to show! Due date is Jan 2nd so a quiet New Years for me, which as you know means no spinning I guess I can be a sober blocker though and ensure Nicole doesn't end up in the fireplace.

I'm dead chuffed you're having such a great time and am looking forward to seeing you and hearing all about it on your return. Have a beer for me young lady and keep enjoying xxxx

Sorry to have missed your calls but we were in Cornwall. I was very brave and took nan and kids ! Not an experience I care to repeat !!! But at least the weather was good and we could go to the beach every day. Back home now and to rain and thunderstorms. Will be back at caravan 21st to 25th then D&D will be there for a week.Tomorrow is John's mum funeral (17th) so hope it doesn't rain then !!!!! Hope you managed to retrieve the photos. We will download from this end so they won't disappear for ever. Have texted and e-mailed address of GPO in Bangkok so you can pick up phone. It will have to be signed for so have identification with you. D&D having trouble with houses at moment but are hoping to buy her brother's house which is in Rossiters Rd as the original one has definitely fallen through. I'm sorry I have been poor contact for you, I am totally s*** and I take all the blame, my excuses are just that, I'm s***. Sorry! I have been keeping up with your travels but not too much as to be honest they are making me very green! Steve is well impressed with the mountain bits you have been doing - he keeps says 'how can she come back to Frome after seeing all that?!' I've shown the kids a few pics too! We were clearing out a few boxes in the garage the other day and I came across our 6th form photo (the first year), and pointed you and your afro out to them! hahaha!! I must say it's looking very tame in your pics!

Not much going on here really. Summer hols at the mo so lots of entertaining of kids - sure I do shed loads more than my mum used to do with me! At least the weather has changed after the 2 months of rain we've had (Toby is a big fat liar!). Frome is rife with crime and graffiti since you left, I'm not sure as a community we can wait till March for you to come back and sort the asbo's out, we've got one in the house opposite, gonna be pregger's before the years up - I've got a bet on that one!

Anyway, I think I have bombarded you enough today what with the Facebook thing too. Hope you escape China soon. (what a bizarre thing to write!)

looks like harry is having the holiday of a lifetime!!!

well i'm off to south germany for a week or so - it's sunnier down there and from there we can go to france / switzerland / austria... and then back to berlin ready for dooley's arrival. i think she'll be glad to get her wellies off.

oh and you can get dog in china town in manchester and a whole host of other things that environmental health have tried to close some restaurants down for!!
