Hi All

Just a quickie to say I´m alive and well and currently flying through Argentina (well driving fast because as you know flying is cheating) we´ve only been here a week and in a couple of days it´s off to Brazil, as we´ve left Bolivia and come down in altitude the weather is picking up to the extent that we´re all dropping like flies...Yesterday we had at least 5 folk on board sick and we had to do a 16 hour drive in temps in excess of 37 degrees! Touch wood I´ve been fine my stomach has been subjected to so much in the last year it´s pretty much bacteria proof now!

We´re off to the Iguazu falls tomorrow on the Argentinian side then Friday we cross into Brazil and see the falls from that side a few of us then go on a road trip across another border to Paraguay completing 3 countries in 3 days no doubt in the searing heat. Back to Brazil in the evening for a night in Foz then a few days in the wetlands of the Pantanal...not long then until the big bash at the end the Rio Carnival...this second overland trip in South America is flying by now...

Argentina is stunning, with it´s beautiful people, scenery, food and wine it really tops the bill (well it comes close) thankfully I fly onto South Africa in Feb from Buenos Aires after the carnival so I´ll have 4 nights in the Argentinian capital to end this leg with, perfect.
