We left Mataranka and drove to Katherine. Mum and will did the groceries while Dad, Jack and I got fuel for the car. After that we had lunch in a park. Then we got a treat, it was a Frozen coke from McDonalds.

When we got there we set up and went for a walk to the waterfall. Then we went for a swim and jumped off rocks. Apparently there was a fresh water crocodile in the water, but we didn’t see it. Then we went home and relaxed for a while. After tea we went crocodile hunting with a torch but we didn’t see any. Instead we saw lots of cane toads, my enemy.

The next day we walked to the top pool and stayed there for 120 minutes. We jumped off rocks, sunbaked and swam. We walked a track we had not been on before. It was longer but it was a better view in my opinion. I ran and beat everyone I was so hot. After that we had a rest and ate lunch. Then went to the bottom pool and swam over to the waterfall. We stood against the hot rocks after being in the cool water. After that we had tea and went toad bashing after. We killed 21 cane toads!
