Thu 14 Jun - After I did the last blog we wandered off for a visit to a local museum and found some apparently v.famous series of fibreglass cows that travel the world and had to have a killer Margarita to get over them. Another night with lightning in the clouds and managed to get a slightly naff photo after only about 50 attempts.

Fri 15 Jun - Got up early and got on the bus to Puerto Vallarta. Went to the (all inclusive) hotel we stayed at 10 years ago and half an hour of negociations on the price before we got in at the sort of money we can sort of afford - still a bit over-budget but sod it for old time's sake. After the All Inclusive wristband was finally attached we went to the bar and did the only decent thing. Place seems heaving with Mexicans having their summer break - we thought it would be quiet as its the quiet time for us foreign johnnies going there.

Sat 16 Jun - Juust make breakfast despite taste of Long Island Iced Teas still in mouth from last night. Went to get our laundry done and had a veeeery interesting conversation with an Ex-Pat Scot who started off trying to get us to go to a timeshare presentation.

Sun 17 Jun - Sit though 3 hour Timeshare Presentation trying to keep a straight face - our friendly Scot had given us half of his "commision" up front to get us in there. We tried to sound like we still had jobs and all the time we're giggling that we had brought done the cost of the hotel to under budget. First 2.5 hours we're fine, the last half hour we had to wriggle out of the net.

Mon 18 Jun - Gently sizzle by the pool under the influence of alcohol reading books. Met up with Scotish fella again so he can prep his next lot of backpackers in the doing-us-all favour-stylie!! Edit - Forgot to say that afternoon was very funny watching Mexicans trying to swim. I thought they were just splashing about doing impressions of a drowning cat but it appeared they most impressed by lengths of the pool underwater which I (Jon) was doing.  Unfortunately a Dutch chap and an American (both over 60) watched what I was doing and joined in and then kicked MY arse - I blame those bloomin' Long Island Iced Teas!!

Tue 19 Jun - Checked out of the All Inclusive hotel and are now wandering about in old Puerto Vallarta waiting for our nightbus to Los Mochis which is a proper 13 hour overnight job leaving at 9 this evening.
