This morning we were woken up at about 3am or something by some strange animal sounds that we couldn't recognise. After listening for a bit we got up and found a raccoon in the tree right by our tent! He had found Darren's sandwich in the bin! Today we slept in until about 1pm before getting ready and heading out. We walked through the downtown area, stopping at Union Square for a coffee then kept walking towards the waterfront. After a sleep in this morning, we got ready and headed down towards the Embarcadero and the waterfront to find ourselves some sort of party for Independence Day. There were a bunch of markets down there, and we passed one guy selling tshirts with really cool designs on them. We woke up today and got ready to head off again, and after a quick chat with everyone we got in the car and followed them down the street. The five of us (Taylor, Eric and Rainie) went to a little cafe called Porch and ordered some coffees, and breakfast for Darren and I. We drank our coffees and had a chat with the guys until our food was ready, then we had to say our goodbyes and get back on the road. But at least it's not too long until we'll get to catch up...
