I overslept this morning so awoke to Kat knocking on my door 5 minutes before we had to get to the tour agents for our snorkelling trip. Luckily 'Mexican time' meant we weren't late so met the rest of our group and headed to the bus to the port. Kat was like a little child at Christmas on the journey out, even though it was a little choppy! The trip took around an hour, however we had some Mexican sisters to keep us entertained with there whooping and screaming...

We left Playa del Carmen in the morning and took a 1 hour ish bus to Cancún. We'd heard negative things about the place and we didn't really want to spend much time there but it's a stopping point for one of the popular islands, Isla Mujeres. 5 minutes from the bus terminal in Cancún we found Moloch hostel, which was clean and inexpensive with a really nice pool!
