Today we made a 3 hour journey to the Ocavanga Delta Bush! We were camping in the middle of nowhere for 2 nights! There was no facilities just a drop toilet and a fire! Before we reached camp we nearly got attacked by a hippo! We were in canoe's and two of the ladies rowing them got hit off their boats and landed in the water and the hippo was heading straight towards kerry and Niamh's canoe. The pola on our boat managed to reverse it so quickly and hid us in the reeds until it had gone! It was the scariest thing in the world! Once we reached dry land we went swimming in the deserted Hippo pod! It was a lot cleaner than some of the swimming pools we have been in over the last couple of weeks! That evening we just had dinner and sat around the fire!
