I woke up today at 8.30ish and had quite a nice shower! I packed up my stuff and then went to boil some hot water to make sooz and I a cup of coca tea. I checked my emails and looked at pips new pictures on facebook of Mexico, they look amazing, very different to our pictures though, I´m looking forward to catching up with them all it should be good fun!I had a quick chat to kara and she sed charlotte is chatting more now, so cute just be nice to see her growing up and changing! Sooz and I went for a wander around the town and bought a few more girfts to stickin the post from new Zealand hopefully in time for christmas! At 1pm we boarded our bus to La Serena, costing 20,100.00 about 25quid we figured. We were sat at the front brilliant seats on the top deck, we could see all around and stretch out which is good, as were on it until 6am the next day!

The views were amazing as we were driving through the Atacam desert! It was quite flat, withmoon likemountains around, but all dry sand and stones. Not a plant in sight, or a cloud for that matter! We stopped off for one hour at Antofogosto, a big port on the coast, it was quite boring we just wanted to be getting on with the journey! We were quite settled in our seats, so when the guy tried to ask us to get off the bus while we were stopped we tried to ask to stay on. I actually think sooz might just be a little more stubborn than me when she wants to be! Made me laugh, she told me to ´read my book and look innocent´!lol :o) It worked and we were allowed to stay on. The journey finally continued and we rejoined the main road down Chile, ´´route 5´` . The views went back to the same as they had been. As night drew in they put on a film called flawless in english which passed some time and took my mind off the fact that in Antofogosto a women and her 1yr old baby got on and sat in the seats behind sooz and I, arggghhhh! Not ideal, I slept with my headphones in all night, not that they drowned out the noise of the whiny baby, manI really am not ready for that in my life just yet! We probably had the comfiest seats on the bus yet I still struggled sleeping! It want bad though I shouldnt complain! Night gradually passed.
