I slept about 10hrs and probably would have slept longer had they not put loud music on in reception at about 7am! I showered and packed up my stuff, then we moved to a new hostel called hostel covatsch, with 2 computers!(neither of which allowed us to put memory sticks into so once again we cant backup our pics!). We......well sooz cooked us scrambled eggs for breakfast/lunch which was delish!Very tasty! We got talking to a girl from switzerland in the hostel, who joined us in our adventure to the ´swimming pool´! It was midday and quite hot whenwe made the decision to walk the 3km down the road heading into the desert in flip flops to something the guide books simply called a swimming pool, and did not expand on! Not one of our wisets decisions! We werent sure what to expect , a natural pool, manmade one, tourists or locals...? When we finally arrived it was a green coloured man made pool full of locals(it was saturday afterall!) and the place didnt even sell bottles of water, not ideal considering we had just dragged ourselfs across a desert to this place with no prior thought and were low on water! It was good to sunbath and relax for a few hours but really wasnt that amazing! We seriously didnt fancy the trek back so managed to get some of the locals who worked there to order us a taxi!Phew! 3,000 mil and 5mins later we were back!Much better! My yearning for an icecream after last nights dream of icecream had still not subsided so I bought a huge double cone from a cute little cafe in the town square, for a not so mere, 1,400.00 mil! One scoop would have been enough for sure! Ah well it satisfied the urge! I went online and mangaged to talk to the folks we decided to use skype and it worked a treat, we had a lovely long chat, and used th webcam so I even got to see poco and dizzy! really good to talk without the stress of it costing loadsa money! After ending our chat I made pastafor sooz and I while she was being talked at by a very enthusiastic Kiwi! This time we added a few seasonings and boy didit make a difference! We then chilled in our dorm and talked to a german couple and two swedish girls. Nice to have a relaxed day and talk to mum and dad!
