Travelling on the highway north/east of Longreach at 100km/hr and we spotted a modern day swaggy walking on the right hand side of the road. He looked over his shoulder at us as we were approaching and for some reason he decided to gradually make his way into the middle of the road!! Shaun gave his brakes a good work out, I had a firm grip on the dashboard and the kids quickly woke from sleeping. It was a close call but thankfully he made it to the other side! Needless to say words where exchanged and I called the police so hopefully they stop him before he tries it again and risks anyone else's families life or his own! Does make you wonder what was going through his head to play chicken with cars on a highway though... poor fella :(
