arrived in auckland and made way to hostel...soooo tired but when i arrived janine and laura had left a message to say they were here too!!!! then bumped into nina and annie the norwegian girls i met in the cook islands!...such a small world! went to have shower and realised i had left all bathroom stuff in fiji! noooo!!!!!! so, went shopping (oooooohhh the clothes!) had a mcdonalds and walked straight next door to dunkin donuts! i love it here!! walked around the harbour and then bumped in to laura and janine...yay! decided to go out that eve! have some cool photos to post soon! had another mcdonalds afterwards.....what a day! time to head back to the sanctuary! (girls only floor in hostel with feather pillows, duvets and free aveda hair products - trust me i need them! my hair is like a birds nest!) next day after my full english we looked around the shops and then headed for the aquarium....saw some massive penguins which was cool but funny that after diving nothing beats the real thing!!!! had a lift back in a shark mobile! (pics to come!) had a pizza (notice all this healthy eating!) and went up the sky tower which had such an amazing view. watched the sun set with a cup of tea. they had a cool camera up there which could zoom right in to peoples windows....think enemy of the state! make you realise someone could watch you so easily!!! next day free tour of auckland which was cool........ saw some amazing sights of the city ....including a chocolate factory and volcanoes and the hotel where paris hilton filmed her famous 'video'!!! went to the museum and headed back to the hostel to pack! on way back we saw a film crew filming an episode of the power rangers! leaving on the 'kiwi experience' bus tomorrow ( with laura and janine) which will take me around new zealand for the next month! will update you all with pics and goss as soon as i can...take care love kristy xxxxxx
