hello! finally arrived in raratonga this morning after such a long plane journey, over 24 hours!!!. i am soooo tired but dont want to sleep until tonight as need to adjust my body clock! the island is amazing.....looks like something out of jurassic park! there is only one road on the island which goes round in a big circle and there are 2 buses...clockwise or anti-clockwise!!! the weather has been a mixture of hot sun and torrential rain....... but it is cyclone season apparently! hoping to spend the day sunbathing tomorrow! the hostel is nice..... not exactly five star luxury but i think i will get used to it! have accepted the fact that will probably always feel dirty too!! anyway, hope you are all ok?? i am fine.... made some friends on the plane straight away although they are all in a different hostel..... so have to start all over again now! will write again soon, kristy xx
