Hey,

Well since Ian got here its been very busy! last saturday i went to the pool in siem reap again and then on sunday went out with voleak!~she took me to lucky mall cant believe there is such a posh place and a proper supermarket in siem reap now! then went and had lunch at her mums stall which was very nice! then she took me really far out of siem reap to some temples but we got there and discovered you need an angkor pass to look around and i didnt have one! but saw the outside anyway! they went to the western baray which was nice is just like a massive resevoir with a little island in the middle but didnt go to the island as v expensive! then back to siem reap and got a tuk tuk to the airport to meet ian! then that evening me ian and voleak all went out for dinner! which was nice! then monday didnt do much as ian was v tired went to hotel de la paix for lunch which was amazing! its a really posh hotel that sponsors the LHA sewing training centre! then had a walk around markets and went to wat damnak to say goodbye to all the students which was sad! On tuesday we went to the land mine museum which was really interesting though really far out of siem reap! then that evening went to temple bar and watched the apsara dancing! then had a walk around the night market!

On weds we went to the orphanage which was fun! we handed out all the cuddly toys mandy gave me and the sweets etc we had bought out! and ian got to meet all of the kids! and gave blood on the way back! then weds night went and said goodbye to everyone in the office at LHA and then went to this nice hotel where they do tapas all food and drinks $1 on a weds night which was nice!!

thursday we left at 5am and went to angkor wat as wanted to see the sunrise but unfortunately it was cloudy so didnt really see anything which was a shame and then spent all day looking around the temples we did mini tour so sawe loads then tried to go up in the ballon overlooking angkor wat but was fully booked all day as loads of tour groups had pre-booked which was a shame then went to watch the sunset on top of the hill! which was nice! then after dinner on thursday night we went and had a seeing hands massage which is done by blind people!

Friday we spent all day on boat to battambang took 9 hours in the end and run aground loads of times!! and ian woke up and said dint feel well and then ended up throwing up several times over the side of the boat! but was very pretty went past loads of floating villages and all the kids kept waving at us! today just going to have a walk around battambang then tomorrow may go out to a couple of different places and then going to phnom pehn!~
