hey,

Well carrying on from last time! we went to the bus station in mersing to get the bus to melaka and i went to ticket counter to ask which platform bus would be leaving from but turned out it was cancelled!! got there at 12.45 for 13.15 train and had to wait until 17.30 for another bus which was a nightmare there was nothing to do in bus station and didnt get to melaka until 10.30pm! so just had to get a taxi and go straight to a guesthouse!! melaka was really nice though! the following day we just went for a walk around and looked at all the old buildings was really weird as didnt feel like asia because such strong dutch and portuguese influences! but there were loads of shopping malls too! and 2 mcdonalds, a KFC, a burger king and a pizza hut all within 100m which was really strange! we also went up in this tower thing where youre in like a glass bit and it lifts up to the top of the tower and rotates round as it does it! was weird but really good views!! that night we went to this satay place where they just put a big pot of boiling satay sauce over a gas burner in the middle of the table and you picked your own kebabs off of a big counter and cooked them in the satay sauce was really nice but v messy! and was full had to wait for a table and a queue the whole time we were there we were also the only westerners apart from 1 other man!

The next morning we got the bus to singapore! bus was fine inly prob was we hadnt been given an entry card into singapore to fill out anf every1 else had so we took much longer than every1 else and bus nearly went without us!! bus also dropped us at this tiny bus station with no ATM and we had no singapore dollars and was chucking it down so got soaked! but managed to get a taxi to take us to the hotel and stop at an ATM on the way! hotel was lovely as was a posh one ians mum and dad paid for for his birthday! that afternoon we went round so many of the orchard road shopping malls and didnt buy anything all really expensive! but i did find a cheap diamond ring i really liked but couldnt afford!! then we went back and went for a swim was strange because dark but swimming pool had loads of lights so brighter under the water than on top! lol! i also tried out the whirlpool which was lovely and warm!!

The following morning i woke up early so i left ian in bed and went to the spa to try out the sauna and steam room and went in whirlpool again which was lovely! that day we went to snow city in the morning (ians choice) was -6 degrees so not good and just basically had a slide made out of ice that you went down in a tyre tube was freezing but ian loved it! then we went to sentosa island! got the cable car over and then went on this thing called a luge almost like gokarting but no accelerator as done by gravity! was fun and then went back up by a chair lift which was really scary as went really high and not well held in! then got cable car back and then headed for singapore version of the london eye! which is bigger of course! but on the walk from metro station ian saw part of formula 1 track so had to walk around that! but went up on the wheel just as was getting dark so really pretty as lights all just coming on! then ian spotted the pits for the formula 1 track so we had to look at that too! was a really long day!

The last day in singapore we went to the zoo which was really good really big and quite jungly! and in the afternoon/evening we went to the national orchid garden which was lovely! so big and so many different types!

The next day we flew to delhi flight was ok! then just got a taxi to the hotel which ians mum had already booked! the next morning we didnt do much then ians mum arrived and surprised ian!! he had no idea she was coming out! cant believe we managed to keep it a secret but worked!! ian so shocked everytime he looked at us that day he just kept saying b******s!! that day we just really chatted with ians mum as loads of catching up to do and went to the pool in the afternoon!!

The next day we went to a tomb in delhi which the taj mahal is meant to be based on! was really nice and then had to go to train station to book tickets to agra! got there and then found out needed passport to book tickets so went back to hotel and had a quick swim to cool off and then went back into delhi with passports and then got train tickets fine! then got auto-rickshaw to connaught place supposed to be main hub of delhi and walked arounf shops but wasnt much there then had dinner in a restaurant there which was nice but when came out there wasnt any taxis anywhere and everywhere desserted even though only 8.30pm!! was crazy spent ages looking for a taxi and ended up getting a rickshaw after about 30-45mins! but got back fine eventually!!

the next morning we got the train to agra which was fine! although there is certainly nothing like delhi station!! got to agra fine anyway and went to get taxi but then someone else got in the back so made them get out then driver stopped at wrong hotel thought he was trying to con us but turned out actually didnt know where he was going and hotel had changed its name which we hadnt believed when he told us!! that afternoon just sat at the window and looked out to the taj which was really good! that evening had dinner at hotel and birthday cake for ian!!

the following day we went to the taj which was really good but so hot!! didnt really do anything else booked a hotel for me and ian to stay in while waited for kelsey to arrive ended up being 5* which was really good as only 20 pounds for all 3 of us including breakfast!!

The next day we were up early for train back to delhi which was ok then headed to connaught place again to get ians cricket shirts then back to hotel and afternoon by pool!!

The next morning was time for ians mum to go home so we said goodbe to her then changed hotels! hotel was really nice and just spent afternoon by pool!

on tuesday we spent morning by pool then went to look at this shopping mall which was just down the road but too expensive for us!! then bed early!

had to get up at 2.00am to go and meet kelsey from the airport got taxi ok though and met her then back to hotel which surprised her as so posh and they were waiting for her with a bunch of red roses to say happy birthday!! ended up waking up and having breakfast then going back to bed then went to pool and spa!! in the evening we had arranged for a chocolate birthday cake for her but waiters in the restaurant gave it away as put out plates before brought out cake!!! but she liked it anyway and all staff kept stopping her to day happy birthday as hotel empty so every1 knew us!!

on thursday we spent time by the pool and then went into delhi to get train tickets ended up booking tickets all the way to mumbai as not many left as wanted to go to udiapur which is more difficult and in a crappy class but thats all we could get at least we have seat numbers!!

Friday we got the train to agra which was fine and went to hotel we had picked when in agra with ians mum!! hotel had lovely rooftop view of taj so showed kelsey that and went for w alk!

Saturday we went into the taj was still amazing though kelsey decided she prefered the gate to the actual taj lol!! and every1 wanted to take photos woth kelsey in! lol!

Sunday we left very early to get train to jaipur which was nearly 2 hours late in the end! and had carriage numbers up wrong so had to run all the way down the platform to our carriage! got to jaipur fine but came out a side entrance from station somehow so had to walk to main exit to get a taxi but had been recommended a guesthouse by somebody in agra and came here and its lovely really nice!! beautifully decorated and really clean!

Yesterday we walked into jaipur which was quite fine and kept thinking we were going to get run over as no path and went shopping in the old city! got loads but was quite cheap! then got a rickshaw back!

Today we went to the city palace and then walked arounf a few bazaars near there then got rickshaw back!

Tomorrow planning to go to amber fort and monkey temple and then getting the night train to udiapur!!
