Quick work trip!

Just spent a couple awesome days in Leeds for a conference. For the most part, I didn't get to explore as we were pretty programmed with the conference, but there were a few highlights.

The city itself is very cool. An interesting mix of new development and classic architecture. Wandering around the city was a cool activity itself. There is also a bumpin nightlife. When I told the coffee guy at the train station I was travelling to Leeds, he asked me what I was celebrating.

We had a social at the Tetley which is an old brew house and art gallery. I also got to check out some local hangouts like the Adelphi, Whitelocks Ale House, the Viaduct, and a cool Brit-pop place that played a lot of Oasis. A great place to walk around and mingle with locals.

Moving on now though!
