Arrived at London Friday. Obtained replacement passport. Went through Luxembourg Gardens then walked to MontParnasse and saw sensational views of Paris, Quiet rail trip to London and a great day with family. We saw the Hubert Fountain in Ashford. Arrived at Veen where Verity my daughter spent 10 months as a gap year. A little village near the Belgium daughter . Dinner tonight with a dutch family and some time with them. A little rest is good and a walk down the shops to have some food for lunch. This land was flat , wet and green.

Spent yesterday in Cologne. Ken took the bike ride intonthe city. Rhonda the walking tour and the chocolate museum. Ken saw the media park and three Roman Gates from 50 BC with a little restoration.this city is over 2000 years old. The cathedral is 162 metres high and has two spires.
