Today we planned to visit Chinatown in Yokohama. We had no idea on what to expect there so this would be a great opportunity to discover. When we arrived at Motomachichukagai station we had no trouble finding it. The big Chinese Gate at the beginning of the district made sure of this. There were many stores with souvenirs but mainly a lot of food. Many buildings had Chinese-like decoration but it all felt really random. In combination with lanterns and small lamps (which displayed the year of the dragon) above the street made it all a very nice sight to see. Unfortunately the amount of food stores was too much (and we were not looking for food) it was hard to find some stores between the restaurants. Of course we found some nice stores and visited a few temples we discovered on the way. All in all we made some great pictures and went home where we had a dumpling/fries/salad dinner.
