We added more Hawaii and BKK pics check them out
We arrived at the Hotel in BKK around 12 last night. We had a few beverages and went to bed around 2. We got up early this morning and toured the city. We took a cab to Wat Po to see the numerous temples and the huge resting Buddha. Following that we rented a tuk-tuk for the day for $2 dollars which took us to The Grand Palace, The Marble Temple, and a bunch of other ancient spots within the Kingdom of Thailand. We must have seen 200 Buddhas today, which involved constantly taking on and off our boots, but was well worth it. It is 90 degrees here, and we are sweating off all the weight we put on in college (we hope). All three of us decided it would be in our best interest to have some custom suits made for our adult lives. The place was really cheap and we go in for our fittings tomorrow.
Tonight we plan to tour the cities clubs and bars, we arranged to have a driver all night for around 200 bhat or about 2.50 to 3 dollars. We will find a good local place to eat before the nights festivities. Tomorrow afternoon we leave for Cambodia, to see the Ankor Wat temples and will update you soon.
A QUICK run down of the following week is that we will be in Cambodia for 2-3 days, following a bus drive down into Vietnam for 4 days, then drive back into cambodia so that we can fly back down to Bangkok where we will then head north or south out into the country...
Hope all is well in the states.
