An 05:20 start. This definitely an adventure and not a holiday. Today was 3-0 to the dogs, although I didn't crash into a dog or fall off they seemed to be trying their hardest to make it happen. However, skill, nerve and blind luck saved my arse. We had a really good day going up and then down the Jalori pass. The last 15 mins of the ascent was 1st gear all the way with broken track and a sheer drop to the left. The trick is not to stare over the edge - old biking adage : you go where you look. We also went through a 3 Km long tunnel where some vehicles put their lights on, but not all. Happy to say everybody made it through ok. With all this and a couple of transits through Indian towns it was good that we only had a couple of falls although one of them was pretty catastrophic for the bike (it's gonna be expensive) but luckily Nico ( Finish guy who lives in Abu Dhabi) walked away unharmed. Really good so far although I think I've lost half a stone with sweat, nothing like ringing your socks out with your own sweat. There's maybe a couple of more beers to have and then it's a 6:30 start tomorrow.

Jim Dem dogs eh mate ... you need the optional dog spud-guns fitted to your Enfield. BTW does it live upto it's name and go like a Bullet? Need more pictures, your words are nice but we like pictures ... see if you can get a pack of dogs! Remember that dodgy golf shot you did in Portugal where you had to leave your ball in the bunker as it was being protected by a pack of dogs!? Keep up the good work. Ride Safe ... be seen!
