Well I'm sad to say that my program at ISB is drawing to a close. We are finished with all our classes and tonight we are having a farewell dinner. Tomorrow we are partaking in some relaxing spa treatments at the hotel next door to campus and packing before our departure on Saturday morning. I had a wonderfull second week in Hyderabad. I am finally acclimated to the food and comfortable enough to venture off campus. We had several trips this week, we went to an NGO (government sponsored non-profit organization) meal kitchen where they each day make lunches for 150,000 school students. Then we visited a rural water project where they provide 20 liters of clean drinking water to 1000 families each week for as littles as 2 rupees a day. We also has an Indian art history lecture followed by a trip to an artists house which was more like an art gallery. She even invited a bunch of local artists to come and they all broke out sketch pads and started drawing potraits of us. On Saturday Deepti's grandfather is picking me up and I am spending a couple days with them before heading back to the states. I am very much looking forward to seeing how actual indian people live day to day and getting some home cooked food from her grandma. I probably won't have internet connection once I leave school, so this might be my last post from India. I wish I could bottle the warm weather and bring it back with me ! See you all at home soon :-)
