Day 26. Mansilla de las Mulas to León 18kms. 170 up 140down. Except that on the outskirts of León the foot bridge over the motorway was Closed off and a diversion in place adding 50 m of up and a couple of kms of along. We met the apartment people and got the keys and are safely installed and now on R& R. We have washed everything. Unable to go out until things are dry. Day 25. Where did all the days go. 19 km 40 up 120 down warm Sunny a bit hot mid afternoon A good walk today. Saw a proper grass harvester with blower and two trailers today. Pilgrims seem to be getting fewer. May get a new lot starting in León. Tired so will read for a while then sleep. Not much sleep last night as my top bunk mate tossed and turned and snored. Really the noise was horrendous. Had a good dinner so feel good tonight.

Day 24. Friday 18th May 17kms 110 up 60 down.21 low 9 cold wind A pleasant walk mostly on a path along a minor road. We got underway about 8:00 another very pleasant night in a medium size town.
