Day 36 Wednesday 30th Villafranca del Bierzo to Vega Del Valvarce. Cool overcast no rain. 17.1 km 375 up 275 down. Mostly walking beside the road on a concrete shoulder behind a barrier. Hard on the hips as the camber of the road was extended on to the shoulder and so one hip was always higher than the other. Felt odd then a bit sore. My therapy is to lie on my bunk. Day 35. Tuesday 29Th Camponaraya to Villafranca de Bierzo 15.5 km some up some down. A great day walking. Started in the rain but it only lasted an hour. Felt a lot better today. Day 34 Monday 28 Molinaseca to camponaraya 16 km Some up some down. Legs very sore and so was my butt. Hard to get going today. Day 33 Sunday 27 Foncebadon to Molinaseca 20 km. 225 up and 1070m down Arrived Molinaseca before 1:30 Yes Sally I agree the most challenging terrain so far!! The up was gentle and went very well.
