We decided to fly from Sucre to Cochabamba as it was only 30 mins for £25 (as opposed to an overnight bus for £10)
Cochabamba is hot (32degrees) and the people here call themselves Cochabambinos - so cute! There are buses everywhere, they have little minivans going everywhere and the bigger tourist buses are decorated in multicoloured. On the afternoon we arrived we got the cable car up to the 2nd biggest Christ Redeemer statue in the world which looks out over the whole city. We sat up there for a while in the shade and then headed out for dinner (I ate ostrich! Too chewy, won't eat it again) but Ben wasn't feeling well so we had an early night.
The following day we visited La Cancha market - it's enormous with lots of different alleyways, you could literally get lost in there and they sell everything from clothes to food and electronics. Everywhere in Bolivia they have ladies selling freshly squeezed orange juice on the street corners, it's so good! It was mega hot that day so we were determined to find a swimming pool. We found a water park online but when we got there it turned out to be a weird run down amusement park half full of kids so we didn't stay long! That evening we went out for a really great steak dinner but I got food poisoning and was throwing up all night and next morning
