Apologies for KP's rather strange and dilirious message that she left yesterday... and I can assure you our life does not revolve around the free entertainment of American Idol, Neighbours then Friends every night from 5pm-7pm... I think she was feeling a little faint from the blood test and her fainting incident... more bad news I'm afraid... we didn't get the jobs at the winery. The lady called this morning and she said she gave the jobs to people who had previously worked in the wine industry (who are also suspected to be locals...) She did, however, say that we had excellent CVs and that we should find it easy to get jobs in the next couple of weeks... apparently there are lots of vacancies coming up in Queenstown (or at least that's the word on the street) as employers stock up for Ski season... so it's all up in the air again, back to square one and we're running out of enthusiasm. BUT today we are trapesing round town again begging each and every place of employment, shops, supermarkets, hotels, restaurants, cafes, bars ANYWHERE. So spirits are slightly low especially as we wait to hear about little Kitters' blood test results. No fear though, nurse Georgie is repaying her huge debt (carried over from the Jellyfish situation) and doing her best to look after her. Right, am about to update the photos so will say goodbye for now, Mum and Dad- I'll call soon I promise! love xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Aww KP so sorry you're not very well, fingers crossed it's not glandular fever and that you make a speedy recovery. Any news about the jobs? Wasn't today D-day? The bungy jumps sound amazing, my mum did one in New Zealand and she said it was one of the best things she ever did, so I'm sure you'll feel the same! Don't worry about uni being an anti-climax though, thinking you're going to have all that work to do, it's really good once you've found the balance. And you don't begrudge doing the work too much because generally you're doing a course that you really enjoy because it's so specific to your interests. Of course there are ups and downs, some bits you like more than others, but in general it's really not so bad. We just complain about essays and exams because we can! Honestly, you'll both love it, it'll be the start of another adventure! Where are you both going by the way? And what are you doing?
Anyway, enjoy the bungy jumping, Kits - hope you feel better soon, let us know if it's glandular fever, and also let us know about the jobs both of you.
Lots of love, Becky xxx

Ahhh my beautiful people. Chaddy, young one, Super excellent to hear from ye, G and I are now having to come to terms with the fact that all this frolicking will have to come to an end and we'll be going to uni to WORK. Yuck, all this picking accomodation malarky really brings it home. Hmmm, well a special day for me as I have just had a blood test with the threat of supposed glandular fever hanging over my head. Yuck again. So I feel rather rubbishy, and now have to sit around doing not a lot. We've watched about 14 episodes of the Bold and the Beautiful, the Young and the Restless....Dallas. Ah, daytime television. I bet you're all glad to hear we are really absorbing NZ culture. ERM Well before the fever seriously kicks in, Im hoping to book the thrilogy.... which is a series of 3 bungy jumps in one day. 2 50 metre ones then the daddy of all jumps... a 134m one. The second highest in the world. Which should be awesome, plus you get a free t shirt. So i will genuinely have been there, done that and recieved a high quality, cotton/poly tshirt. Sweet as. Anyhoo, need to go and lie down, my arm is aching.......and the TV beckons. I think American Idol is on.
Chaddy
Hey Kidos, your trip sounds absolutly amazing im so jealous you went to see the lord of the rings set i want to do that so much. i was so jealous i overlooked kps spelling of the names! just got back to uni at the weekend and all is well but got a bit of work to do which is a bit rubbish. Hong kong was fantastic altough i dont think i could ever live there- far to many people. One market we went to has a population on 800,000 people per square km and i swear they were all out that night walking into you! almost starved to death with the food- it was proper cantonese stuff not the chinease take out food i thought i would be getting! the specialities and the chefs recomendations everywhere was snakes penis, ducks tounge and chicken claw- i was like where the hell is the sweet and sour chicken? but yeah... went to all the sights and got my fortune read which was good but i dont supose they are gonna say your gonna have a crap life with no kids, working in maccy ds and no husband but never mind i live in hope!
Good luck with the job searching. if you are really struggling for jobs become a lap dancer like lilly has done as she says it pays really well the hussy! right well i had better get off, Abu Dhabi was as good as ever and have a bit of a sun tan which is good. Needed one as people at uni were beginning to think i was lieing and that i dont live in a hot country!
When do you guys get back? also georgie cant believe you sat on a jelly fish! ahh darlin hope your ok and managed to survive esp with kp looking after you -i think you would have been better off with the japanse guys trying to clean your shoes!
anyways love you both miss you and hopefully see you both this summer love Chaddy xx

Hey Everyone... we find out about the job tomorrow, the interview went well, she just met us both in a cafe and we just had a really relaxed chat about the winery etc, we're really hoping for the job (obviously) but will let you all know either way! Life is plodding along nicely, we've bumped into quite a few people who we met in Oz here in Queenstown which is quite nice, it's always good to see a slightly familiar face! Hope everything at home is good Mum and Dad- the shotover jet was fantastic fun, we've got some great souvenir photos to pop on the site too... just give us a couple of days to update it al! Love to you all XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Hello again. Sunny here for a change today, which is nice! I'm actually home at the moment as have a very free week and there was a flat tyre incident that I won't go in to. Anyway, back tomorrow for a night out (which I can't afford!) and then only a month and a half til the end of the semester. Can't believe I've nearly finished my first year. Just think you two have all that to look forward to! Actually I bet you are looking forward to it by now, most of my other gapper friends seem to be. Fingers crossed for that job that only you two have applied for! Thinking of you both Lots of love, Becky xxx

Hello Girlies, Hope your trips were all you hoped for. We have had the MD of Garrison Radio staying with his family. Hard work I am afraid as oldest boy missed out when they were handing out manners , parents were nice but did not notice their children. As you know I am not very tolerant of badly behaved children. Anyway we survived and lived to see another day! On present plans I am not working until the weekend so may try to go out for lunch with Flossie. Rainy Monday here, I so wish Spring would stick around for longer than a day. No other news so will say goodbye and good luck on the job front . Much love and God Bless From mum xxxxxxx
Georgie And Kp
OK, so basically georgie and I did the Lord of the rings rounds t'other day and it was awesome. We got ourselves a small 4x4, a not so small guide called Deano and a few london town companions and set off into the land of the hobbits. Probably the best place we visited was Isengard (where sauroman builds his armies, the giant trees destroy it etc...) which is actually very beautiful, in the dart river bed, and georgie and I ate fruitcake and skimmed stones in the glacier water that ran through. We saw the forests of the elves, (not even going to try and spell that...) saw the mountain ranges used for mordor, and the battle ground where orlando jumps on that horse in the crazy fashion. ERM Oh, we saw the camp ground that they used for frodo, sam and smeagol (when they first see the oliphants and meet borrimir.) AH, and so much more of all the horse riding plains... all the shots of them galloping at one million miles an hour... You'll all have to excuse my terrible spelling of everything, but Im sure everyone will get the general idea of what Im on about. It was mucho fun, but today another adventure awaits us in the form of the shotover jet, hopefully we'll survive and tell the tale tommorrow. Heart you all XXX
