Hello! Just wishing my big sis a very happy 21st birthday! Wish I could be there with you -mainly because Cafe Sy Honaire does such amazing steak!... haha just kidding. Love you lots and I shall try to call my time tonight and catch you before you and Mum go out. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX PS Hope you like the little bits in the parcel.

I am faithfully carrying my mobile everywhere with me, so the message about phone charges doesn´t mean ´don´t phone at all´!! Hope you´re well. I´ve sent a couple of emails. Happy Easter. LYL Dad

Hola! from the Bahia del Duque - its a great hotel but easy to mislay one´s family. Yes, we managed to lose Will and Dad on the first day (which of course they will deny vehemently). Weather has clouded over today so just as well you aren´t here otherwise you would be huffing and puffing about the lack of sun....seriously we all miss you, especially Al who has to put with solo mio. But she is doing a great job with her Spanish - we are mucho impresto. LYL Mum and everybody else (including Ellie who of course is having a wonderful time with Vivian) we miss her too but there is a terrific little pug who sits on a sunbed next to our camp and keeps us all amused with his/her antics. Legend dog as Will puts it. LYL again!

Hello , parcel arrived today from Aus laura does not know what it contains and will not be opening until the 29th. Having a leisurely family morning as I have a rare bank holiday off. Only working Sunday late and then off for the beginning of the week. Laura been absent from home last 2 nights staying with Ali and Ben from finnegans good to see her this morning she has invited Dad in to town this pm while I go to replenish food stocks. Our news is always so boring compared with yours but I hope it is still nice to hear we are alive and kicking. Not sure where you have got to yet maybe in Sydney but enjoy ! God Bless and much love from us all at Ravy Dykesxxxx

On our way for the dreaded 'bucket and spade' holiday. Glad to hear you are both in good shape, stinging bums excepted! The Hearl appartment in Sydney overlooks the harbour bridge and is very chic, so I think you'll both enjoy the experience. If you can afford it, do the bridge walk-that's the one when people go in guide parties up the to the top of the iron structure-good for vertigo and great for photographs! We'll stay connected in Tenerife, so keep the messages coming. LYL Dad XXX

Hi Kids!! First of all- happy birthday to Alice... it's probably the day after where you are but just wanted to say it anyway. Only one complaint missy- where are my Next Top Model updates eh? Life for little kitters et moi is awesome yet again. We couldn't stop in Byron Bay (one of the best towns on the gold coast) because there's a huge festival (Jack Johnson, Dave Mathews band etc headlining) and we couldn't get any accomodation whatsoever. We are staying in a small town called Coff's Harbour instead, which is a little further down the coast but really nice, very pretty and an aussie tourist spot so not too many of those annoying backpackers. Hehe. KP had her first ever surfing lessons this morning- I'll let her fill you in on that... but just for the record, she was actually not that bad! We're staying in a crazy motel called "Hoey Moeys" on the beach... at $18 a night (about 7 pounds) we can't complain and even have our own TV and bathroom. We've sorted out accomodation in Sydney (we're staying with friends of the Patricks) and are actually heading down to stay with Allira in Canberra next weekend. I'm so excited to see her! It's all good though, about 10 days free accomodation is just what our bank balances need right now! OH GOSH just remembered this place we had to stay overnight on the way down here on the Oz Bus. It's a small town called Nimbin basically in the middle of nowhere... and cannabis is basically legal there since a festival in the 80s brought so much weed there that the authorities haven't been able to cope since). It's like a weird hippy town where all these old people walk around in tie die and play guitars in the street. KP and I had to go to the ATM machine to pay for our accomodation and we were approached several times asking if we wanted any weed- the friendliest drug pushers I've ever met (actually the ONLY ones). We smiled, said no thank you, and they said no problem have a nice day. Craziness. It felt like we had stepped back in time to the 60s flower power era where everone loves each other. Bizarre. Even the woman who made our breakfast was selling "home-made cookies". The weirdest thing is that there didn't seem to be any young people there at all, just small kids and then their parents and grandparents. Like I said. Weird. Apart from that, nothing too exciting to report, we're here until Saturday then should be in Sydney by Monday with 2 more overnight stops on the way. Lots of driving ahead. For the coach drivers anyway! Amanda so nice to hear from you- cannot believe Claire and Fin!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tell him good luck for Rada... and what's up with you and your auditions. Btw did you get my postcard yet? It is 23 blinkbonny right? Bummies- Ed and Jamie are just mates and they're not hillbillies- they're brits! Everyone else hope you're well, we love to hear your news! HAPPY EASTER! Lots of love XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Kp Still Thinking About The Waves...
WEBBIES. Don't fret, a bummie sized parcel may well be on its way shortly. Full of sugar and spice and all things nice. I couldnt fit any surfer boys in there though hazzie, still looking for a man size parcel with a few airholes. Its australia after all, I'm sure someone thought of it.
Kp Just Call Me Roxy Girl
YES YESSY YES. Its official, the aching muscles, the sea salt bashed face, the cuts and bruises. Kp has surfed. Lets all just have a moment. Dodododoooododododooodododoooo. YAY. It was amazing and possibly the most tiresome thing I've ever done to date. I feel like a zombie but the happiest zombie on the planet. I'm going again tomorrow I think, I'm more than just a little surf stoked. I think it could develop into an addiction. Parents, we're moving to the coast.
Mumsy And Al
Hey boardbabes! just to say you're not the only ones with tans...Al and I have just been tanned at home by Lucy - tanner extraordinaire to most Cobham celebs (Louise Redknapp included) and now we are out on the town looking like footballers' wives (well, Al looks like a footballer's chick and me, well roasted chicken comes to mind) But at least I won't look so much like a beached (bleached even) whale in Bahia del Duque! Hows things with you? Going well I hope on your way down to Sydney....LYL (and did you remember Al's birthday TODAY?)
