You want me to what???...

So we leave for Leon Sunday morning from Honduras, it's another long journey of 8 hours & a hellish bus ride with the toilet over flowing & smelling like pure poo, literally.

The bus drops a few of us off in Leon & we get a cab to Big Foot Hostel…on arrival it's packed, full of young travelers who have been out Volcano boarding that day, what fun! I sign up for tomorrow & down a few Mojitos & play a little pool with some people I met on the bus.

Monday: Wake up early & head out to search for a new camera to tie me over for 2 weeks, nothing is cheap & I'm not willing to pay £200 for a camera for such a short time so I have a mooch about the shops & find some lush skinny jeans for £5, only problem being they have no changing rooms & want me to try on in the packed STREET :0 I decline as I'm commando & head on for some lunch & the day ahead.

We all jump up into the back of a pick up truck, with seats, & begin our crazy journey through the roughage, me being hit by a branch in the face, nice. Finally we see the beast we're going to be climbing & boarding down…OH MY GOD!! It looks frigging scary, I'm not going to lie, I think I wee'd a little :S

So we grab our massive boards, we grab our orange jumpsuits & head up for our 45min climb up this huge black volcano! It's sweaty, it's hot & my legs are aching, a couple of girls are left slightly behind as they struggle. We finally reach the top & look down to where we'll be boarding off….SHHHHHH*T!!! I start doubting whether I can do this, it's a severe drop at the bottom & people have been recorded doing over 80KMPH!!! What the hell!!! Anyway we get our gear on, take a few pic's & me & Cassie decide to man up & get on with it. Jesus it's scary, really scary but so much fun…I nearly go off to the side a few times & brick it but I hold my own & make it to the bottom in one piece (I'd already found out people broke bones on this!!)…Ok, I'm ashamed to admit I only managed 25KMPH but I tried! Hahaha…a girl went so slow she only got 10KMPH haha.

The bus ride back was as eventful with beer & cookies for us all after, without them telling us they were about to drive over some massive dips & the beer would literally cover us, jokes. Came back & had 2 free mojitos, played some pool & now I'm sat in a restaurant happy as larry ordering some delicious food, yammers :)

Looking forward to the next month…more time in Nicaragua, Granada tomorrow which is meant to be amazing, plus Matt coming out for 2 weeks so we're hitting Little Corn & Costa Rica, good times!

Still missing my girls SO much & also missing the boys…cannot wait to party with you all again in the summer xxxxxxxx
