Today was another long day, we are now in Tamworth, home of the Golden Guitar whch we visited this afternoon as well as going through the wax museum and seeing all the wax models of the country singers. We are staying here overnight in a very Budget hotel room, all in one room, no kitchen or anything....tomorrow we go to Coffs Harbour. We left Sydney pretty early today as we had a big drive to Dubbo, it took 5 hours to get here. We went via Bathurst so Dad could drive around Mount Panarama, it was funny. We went to the Western Plains Zoo here and it is really cool, there are heaps of animals to see, we are going back to the zoo in the morning before we go to Tamworth. Today we went back to Darling Harbour to visit the Australian Maritime Museum, we did lots of cool things here, we toured the HMAS Vampire, a retired Navy Boat, HMAS Onslow, a decomissioned submarine and the HM Endeavour, a replica of Captain Cook's boat. Today has been very hot 33 degrees, Apparently Hobart has been very cold? We spent most of the day exploring Darling Harbour, we were lucky enough to have been able to use our friends spare parking spot in Pyrmont so we could walk to the Harbour. We have now arrived in Sydney after a 3 hour drive from Canberra, the traffic here is intense, fortunately the Mazda has an inbuilt GPS. Tonight we had dinner with some good family friends of ours, they have a beautiful apartment in Pyrmont, which is 5 mins walk from Darling Harbour.
