After a great night's sleep in a comfy bed, we checked out the "Business lounge" for a posh breakfast, then decided to head to the infamous Weekend Market, which resulted in a rapid stress flow. We were determined to get Joe a particular watch with a real leather strap, which proved decidedly impossible. There was everything you could ever imagine at this market- it was huuuuge. It was impossible- genuinely impossible to work your way through the entire market- and that's coming from the person that usually does every market thoroughly. But it was all under aluminium roofing and there were row upon row of stalls and different sections for different goods and sooo many people. Claustrophobic couldn't begin to describe it. So after a few hours of over whelming stressful searching, we were out of there and on our way back to a peaceful room! After a dip in the pool and a little nap, we were re charged and ready to face Khao San to find the presents we needed. It was a very successful trip and we managed to find a perfect watch for Joe in the end.
