Niagara Falls is AMAZING!!!!!

I got the bus from Toronto this morning after panicking that i was going to miss it as breakfast at the hostel (which was free) took forever so I cheated and got a cab to the bus station rather than walking!

The bus took 2 hours which went pretty quick!

I got off the bus and asked for directions to The Sheraton... My hotel for the night! And another lady and her family were heading there too so we walked together! They were English and from Surrey. The 2 kids Hannah and Rachel were telling me all about their 6 week trip which included Disney New York Washington dc and now Canada!! They also told me their mum is a vicar and married Elvis...well an impersonator! And their dad is a magician!! Anyway I had a nice walk to the hotel with them!

I walked in to my room and was literally in haven!! 2 double beds, a sofa and chair, fire place, huge tv, bath, tv in the bathroom oh and how could I forget the view!!!!! Wow from my window I can see Niagara Falls!!! It's AMAZING!!!!!

I put my backpack down and went off to explore I got an adventure pass so headed off to watch a video of the making of the Falls then we went in to a room with a simulator kinda thing and it showed how Niagara was formed and I got a little wet!! Then I did the walk behind the Falls it was pretty good to get so close!

Then for the best bit of the day!! I did The Hornblower boat which takes you right up to the Falls!! WOW it was incredible!!! A rainbow formed in front of both falls and I could see the start and end (no pot of gold!!) it was just beautiful as we got closer to the Horseshoe Fall it started to get really windy and very wet but still amazing!! I'd been talking to an Indian lady and she had taken some photos for me and at the end she came up to me and I thought she was asking for me to take a picture of her but her sister wanted a picture with me!!! Ha ha I'm going to be famous in India!!

I then did some more exploring got on the wrong bus but went for a nice drive anyway! I finally got to where I wanted to be Victoria street which was my dream street....souvenir shop after souvenir shop!! I also found a Dennys my favourite restaurant in America!! So I went there for dinner!! Oh I've missed out the most Canadian thing I did today...,I had poutine which is chips cheese and gravy!! Yum yum! I'll be having that again!

I'm now just laying on one of my 2 beds waiting for the fireworks and the Falls to light up then it's bath and bed!

This little backpacker is tired after such a great day!!
