First day in San Fran today. Arrived to a nice warm day. HELLO summer!! After a very hot and at times dangerous shuttle ride from the airport to our hostel, we dumped our bags and headed down to fishermans wharf and pier 39. Got a few bits of shopping done, nothing major though otherwise the already 23kg bag will be over limit!! Dam having to carry so much!! This American change is funny, can't work it out properly, what's the difference between a dime and 1cent...

Made it to Auckland and meet up with the girls. We all got our awesome tshirts that we had made. See blog photo. We have had lots of people asking where we are off to! Currently half way through flight to San Francisco. First long haul flight not as bad as I was expecting it to be. Sleeping doesn't seem to be happening anytime soon for me thought! Girls are both asleep. Might have to try out the tray table sleeping position and see if I have any luck that way!! ...

Nearly time for me to head off on my big adventure to the land where it's nice and warm!!! Otherwise known as USA and Canada. Leave wellington on 2 august for Auckland then San Fran! I'm hoping to be able to keep this up to date while I'm away, so tune in for more updates :)
