First day in San Fran today. Arrived to a nice warm day. HELLO summer!! After a very hot and at times dangerous shuttle ride from the airport to our hostel, we dumped our bags and headed down to fishermans wharf and pier 39. Got a few bits of shopping done, nothing major though otherwise the already 23kg bag will be over limit!! Dam having to carry so much!!

This American change is funny, can't work it out properly, what's the difference between a dime and 1cents? Anyone care to tell me??

Caught the tram down to fishermans wharf, that was an experience in itself - riding on the side board, having to make sure we weren't leaving to far out that we would be swooped by the passing trucks, cars and other trams.

Went to an all American dinner about 2 min walk up the road from our hostel for dinner. Wasn't the greatest but did I expect anything more than food covered in grease, not really!

Another day tomorrow, hopefully more of the nice weather and some good photos to be take. Off to explore golden gate park.
