Day 1 arrived at 10.10, got picked up by the shuttle bus and taken to our hostel Noosa Backpackers. Arrived in Rainbow beach at 7.40am, chucked out bags into Dingos Beach Resort and went for some breakfast; coffee and a sausage roll. Spent the morning on rainbow beach, it was really beautiful and very hot, even from early in the morning, especially the sand, we could hardly walk on it. What a cracker first day of our trip. Left the house on time (bye bye Northview), caught a rush hour train (managed to get a seat half way which wasn't too bad), flight smooth and on time, with a safe and very hot arrival in Townsville. An early start at 6.55am, we crossed the harbour bridge, stopped off at sheep world and dropped people off in Whagadai, before reaching our destination mid afternoon.
