On Saturday, we started the day with a whale watching tour, courtesy of 'Life of Whales'. Went on a purpose built whale watching boat called Rosin, into Faxafloi bay. The water was soo calm, with hardly any wind so apparent perfect conditions to spot whales. Had literally sailed for 10 minutes when we spotted our first whale, a minke one. Paradise or what!! Picked up from the airport, with a ridiculous amount of luggage; my rucksack on the back and a backpack the front, but taken to complete relaxation. The waters are milky blue, (they don't stink as much as I thought they would), just the perfect water temperature, between 36 and 39C and free silica face and body mask to leave skin smooth and rejuvenated.
