Hello all

Arrived in Bangkok today after a very very long journey! After a 7 hour flight we stopped for our change over in Bahrain (Saudi Arabia we think??) WE expected to get straight back on a plane but ended up being delayed 6 hours!! It wasn't all bad though cos we spent the time drinking lots of beer and meeting a varied bunch of ageing travellers. It was quite daunting at first as hundreds of arabic men were staring at us like we were from another planet! Not the nicest thing to experience first time travelling alone, but we're hardcore and drank through it.

Eventually arrived in Bangkok today which wasn't nearly as scary as we thought it would be, all the Thai's are more than friendly and everything is dirt cheap.....As a matter of fact we are just realxing with a few beers now that probably cost us the equivilant of 20p each!!

Its bloomin hot out here we are having to learn to adapt to constant sweating- i think we can pull of the look! ......Saying that we have just had a 5 minute terrential downpour.

We have just purchased bus tickets to take us on a 12 hour journey down south to Krabi where we will be meeting jack so that should be good, anyhow of to enjoy the night will update shortly with pictures an especially funny one of kira but you'll have to wait to see.
