I got up early today and enjoyed a leisurely brekkie at Cafe del Sol (awful name, great place). After that I took the walk up the main road from Mae Heed to Sairee village (which I wont be doing again; lots of crazy Thai people risking their lives on scooters) and settled on the beach to read my book, although there is an over load of mental wild dogs here who have a tendancy to try and kill eachother while sitting right next to you so decided to plant myself on a much safer terrace! About three hours later I finished my book and took a look around Sairee (well, I took a look around a few shops!) and was tempted by yet more cheap clothes (must resist Kim, must resist). I went back to the resort and got ready for dinner. We decided on eating at "In Touch", a really cool thai place, right on the beach - you have to take your shoes off and sit crossed legged etc...! It was a good meal and so nice to completely chill untill... the heavens opened, yes it rained and oh my god did it RAIN. It came straight through the roof and completely soaked us through! We waited for it to pass and then braved it back home although, we didnt quite time it well enough and managed to get pretty wet! Nevertheless it was a hilarious walk home and truly unforgettable. So, yes a pretty boring day, but thought I'd enlighten you all the same. Ciao...
