This morning we checkout of our Sawasdee Bumlampo Inn as tonight we leave for Chang Mai. I had to buy a rucksack for our trekking (eek) and then we caught a tuk tuk to Siam Square. We spent a long time just wandering around the shops - the shopping centers there are incredible. They are imensely big and range from small high street shops and market type stalls to huge designer names and massive food courts. We were there for a good few hours and we didn't see all of it! After some lunch and a smoothie, plus little bit of shopping we caught a taxi back to Khaosan Road. The taxt driver was telling us how crazy the Thai people are for football; some sell they're cars in order to buy tickets to watch it on a screen - mad huh?! Anyway, we're going to buy some supper now and prepare ourselves for the 12 hour night bus journey ahead! Ciao...
